15 Apr Gulfstream pilots scoop top prizes in airport’s ‘land and refuel’ promotion
Ernesto Modesto, a Gulfstream G650 pilot from the Dominican Republic and Troy Moore, a Gulfstream pilot from Philadelphia are the first top two winners in London Oxford Airport’s unique prize draw. Launched coinciding with NBAA last year as a move to attract more long haul business aviation arrivals, the promotion is running for three months in conjunction with fuel partner Air BP.
The land, refuel and win draw was first announced at the NBAA Convention in Last Vegas last November. To qualify, business aviation flight crew and aircraft owners are required to uplift 500 litres of Jet A1 fuel prior to their departure from London Oxford Airport. They then simply present a valid business card to the airport’s operations team at FBO OxfordJet. Crew can do this every time they land, so increasing their chances of winning.
The third and final draw will take place at the end of March
