London Oxford Airport is ideally located for certain special events, equidistant between Birmingham and London in the centre of the Thames Valley region. Just an hour from the UK capital or the West Midlands, accessed by the M40 motorway or the new Oxford Parkway or Hanborough rail stations, the airport itself has a number of on-airport venue options including:

Large hangars up to 21,000 sq.ft. with clear heights up to 13.5m to the eaves
A 160-seat lecture theatre with full digital audio-visual infrastructure
Smart meeting rooms from 10 to 20 seats equipped with latest generation 4K resolution, 75-inch ‘smart board’ screens in our VIP private jet terminal

Access Options

The airport’s runway (the same length as London City Airport) can host aircraft with up to 100-seats and as such attendees of either airport-based or other locally-hosted events can contemplate flying attendees, delegates, keynote speakers, special guests or VIPs, directly to the event. We can organise such flights from helicopters to regional airliners or private jets, some with a global range capability. London Oxford Airport is also co-owned and operated with London’s only licensed heliport and we will coordinate helicopter-shuttles between the two which can take as little as 22 minutes. The airport has won the award for ‘Best Business Aviation Airport’ in both 2017 and 2018 at Europe’s prestigious Sapphire Pegasus Awards.

Blenheim Palace

The airport uniquely adjoins the world-famous Blenheim Palace estate, facilitating direct access by road from the airport’s VIP terminal in just 5 minutes, to what is one of Europe’s finest major event venues and of course Sir Winston Churchill’s birthplace. This World Heritage site is just a mile from the airport boundary. From concerts to weddings, head-of-state visits to major product launches, Blenheim Palace is a venue like no other anywhere else in the United Kingdom and the only one with a commercially-capable airport so close. From the most exclusive, bespoke and secure private events to those hosting tens of thousands of attendees, we will work closely with the organisers and the Blenheim estate to organise any access required by air. Furthermore, on many occasions, vintage aircraft flypasts or aerobatic teams have used the airport as the starting point for displays at Blenheim, making such exercises infinitely easier to control and coordinate. In the summer of 2018 the Palace hosted the President of the United States and is a well-proven, ideal venue for such VVIP summits.
