CIQ (CUSTOMS & IMMIGRATION) REQUIREMENTS

London Oxford Airport accepts flights direct from world-wide destinations, both EU and non-EU with the requisite notice periods to the UK authorities – UK Border Force/Police.

 

  • We are a UK Certificate of Agreement airport with additional ‘Approval for imports of aircraft from Third Countries’.

 

  • We also accept inbound freight – HMRC Alpha Code: OAK, Sequence Code: 452

 

  • We are also an Isle of Man-approved Customs Warehouse

 

A General Aviation Report (GAR) is required to be completed and submitted by operators prior to departure for entry into the UK and exiting the UK.

The information required must be submitted no earlier than 48 hours and no later than 2 hours prior to the expected time of departure.  Apart from flights to/From the Republic of Ireland, Northern Ireland, Channel Islands and Isle of Man where 12 hours’ notice prior to departure/arrival is required by submission of a GAR.

 

The GAR is required to be filed directly on UK Government portal online here.
Emailed versions are no longer accepted by the UK Government.
